Who you're buying from

TapGate is a product of ISN Security Networks (France). When you buy a TapGate Gateway, Home Set, Fob, or Keypad, the contract of sale is with ISN Security Networks. When you subscribe to TapGate Cloud, the service agreement is with ISN Security Networks.

Our full legal entity, SIRET, and postal address are listed on your invoice.

What you get

One TapGate Gateway (or Home Set bundle) ships with: the controller itself, the wiring harness, an antenna, mounting hardware, printed install guide, and 20 digital keys ready to use from the app.

The iOS and Android apps are free to download and continue to receive free updates. Firmware updates to the Gateway are also free for the lifetime of the unit.

TapGate Cloud is an optional monthly subscription (€5/month). It adds a web dashboard, remote key management, push notifications, and 90-day activity logs. The hardware continues to work in full if you cancel — you keep offline Bluetooth operation.

Warranty

Every TapGate hardware product carries a 2-year manufacturer's warranty from the delivery date, covering defects in materials and workmanship. This sits on top of any statutory consumer rights you have in your country, which we never restrict.

To claim: email support@tapgate.app with your order number. If the defect is covered, we repair or replace the unit and cover return shipping within the EU.

The warranty doesn't cover damage from incorrect installation (e.g. miswired power), acts of nature, or third-party modifications.

Returns

You can return any TapGate hardware in its original condition within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, including return shipping within the EU. This applies whether you're exercising your EU distance-selling rights or simply changed your mind.

Subscriptions to TapGate Cloud can be cancelled at any time from the dashboard. You keep access until the end of the current billing period. We don't pro-rate partial months.

Using the service

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials safe and for the keys you issue from your account. Anyone you give a valid key to can open your gate — treat them like a physical key.

Don't attempt to reverse-engineer the firmware or use the service for anything unlawful. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that are clearly being used to bypass access controls at premises the account holder isn't authorised at.

Liability

TapGate is a convenience product that sits alongside your existing access controls — not a security certification or a replacement for a physical key or code. Your existing remote, intercom, or keypad keeps working when TapGate is installed, and should remain your fallback.

To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the hardware or service in the 12 months preceding the claim. We don't limit liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or anything else that can't be disclaimed under applicable consumer law.

Service changes

We may update firmware, app features, and the Cloud service over time — most changes are improvements; some are security updates we release promptly. If we make a material change that reduces what a paid subscription does, we'll notify subscribers at least 30 days in advance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by French law, and any dispute will be brought before the courts competent for the seller's registered office, subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence.
